Ingredients per serving

4 cups (17.5oz/500g) sweet white bread mix (see tip 2 for normal white flour)

1 cup (5.3oz/150g) Genauva extra dark chocolate gems

pinch (2g) salt

1 cup (8fl oz/250ml) water

2 tsp (0.2oz/4g) dry yeast

1/4 cup (1.4oz/40g) butter

 

Things you’ll need

Bread machine. (Check the instructions of your machine, every model or brand might be different)

Tips

1. Put the chocolate chips in the fridge the day before baking. You’ll get better chocolate dots in the bread

2. If you don’t have the sweet white bread mix, use 4 cups (17.5oz/500g) white flour instead, with 1 tsp (0.3oz/8g) salt, 1/4 cup (2oz/50g) sucre and 1tbsp (0.5oz/15g) instant yeast

Preparation

  • Poor all the ingredients (except the chocolate) in the bread machine
  • Start the program for raisin bread
  • After kneading (after the signal) get the dough and the kneading hook out of the machine (don’t interrupt the program)
  • Chop the dough in pieces and knead the chocolate into the dough
  • Bring all dough pieces together and make a big ball again. Put into the machine
  • Let the machine do the rest
