Ingredients for 4-6 servings

1 ¼ cup (8oz/200g) Genauva milk chocolate gems

4 eggs

4 tbsp. sugar

Start saving empty eggshells a few days or weeks earlier

⅓ cup (2oz/50g) Genauva dark chocolate

Preparation

  • Start with the decoration of the egg: melt the Genauva dark chocolate and dip the edge of the egg in the chocolate, let dry
  • The leftover of the dark chocolate can be added to the other chocolate in the recipe

Mousse

  • Melt the chocolate in a double sauce pan or in the microwave (low level, stir every 30 seconds)
  • Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture turns pale
  • Add the melted chocolate to the eggs
  • In a separate bowl: beat the egg whites until stiff
  • Mix a few spoons of egg white with the chocolate
  • Then fold in the rest of the egg white very carefully
  • Pour the chocolate mousse in the eggshells and transfer to the fridge.
