1 Cup (8oz/200g) soft butter

1 Cup (8oz/200g) sugar

4 eggs

1 1/4 Cup (6.2oz/175g) Self-raising flour

1/2  Cup (4oz/100g) Genauva dark gems

  • Mix the butter until it’s soft
  • Add sugar and eggs and beat it until you have a fluffy mixture
  • Add and mix the flour
  • Melt the chocolate and add to the batter and mix
  • Poor into a greased loaf baking pan 9 inches
  • Bake at 347°F (175°C) for 45 minutes
  • Set aside to cool down for 15min, remove the tin and let it cool down on a wire rack
